I recently purchased a set of vintage bongo drums. They were for a display with my 1960 VW Bug. These bongos have printed on their face, Deep Purple Formal 1962. On the Large drum is the Tri-Sig crest. Can anyone shed some light on where this took place or what it was all about. Just on of those curious things that keep me up. LOL Thanks, Herb Hummer, Warren Michigan.
