As we know, part of our mission recognizes and embraces the importance of developing strong womanly character. For the first time as an organization, we will be celebrating National CHARACTER COUNTS! Week, which will occur on October 21-27, 2012. During this time, we will focus on the six pillars of character, as well as our own five core values of wisdom, power, faith, hope, and love. “As your National President, I am often called upon to offer my thoughts related to certain issues or programs we are involved with. Typically, I sit down at the computer and write, and it is a fairly straightforward process. But, for some reason, I have struggled getting my thoughts on paper to all of you. Hazing is a challenging and disturbing topic. I know at this point, some of you are reading this and thinking “Here go “nationals” again…..and our National President is preaching to us, once again, on hazing.”
But here’s the deal……we have a problem and we need to fix it. NOW!” For more thoughts from Kaye on how we can eliminate hazing, click inside:
